I'm Lucy, and I spent years working in weddings and events before I noticed something: the ceremony itself was always my favourite part of the day. So eventually, I stopped planning the rest of it and gave all my attention to that one part.

For a wedding, that means finding your love story, the real one, not the tidy version, and writing it so it sounds like you, warmth and humour included where they belong. For a funeral, it means learning a whole life well enough to tell it right: the parts that made people laugh, as well as the parts that made them proud. For a naming day, it's simply helping a family say, out loud, how loved someone new already is.
Beyond those, I'm often asked to help mark life's other transitions too, the beginnings, the endings, and the moments in between that deserve their own proper words. Every kind of family and every kind of love is welcome here, however yours is shaped.
Eighteen years of this, first working in weddings and events, now as a celebrant, means I've stood at the front of a lot of rooms. What hasn't changed is a belief that a ceremony should feel like it belongs entirely to the people it's for: never a template, never generic, never rushed.
I work in English and Spanish, and I lead ceremonies right across Spain. I'm based on the Costa Blanca, and Madrid and the Balearics are where I travel to most, but distance has never stopped me going further when it matters.
